About Magne

Magne Frantsen is Vice President with Corporate Responsibility for Statoil’s Management System. He has more than 30 years experience from the oil and gas sector and broad leadership experience from a number of positions within Finance, Strategic IT and Health, Environment and Safety.

Statoil’s Management System contains procedures, work processes and requirements describing how the company’s core and support processes are executed in a safe and efficient way. Over several years, Statoil has used design methods to improve the Management System. In his presentation, Magne will share results and experiences from this work, focusing on opportunities that arise through design driven change.
